Terms & conditions

These terms apply when you browse this website, submit an enquiry, or order parts from Summit Jeep Parts. They are written for Australian customers buying automotive parts online, and they sit alongside — never instead of — your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Last updated: August 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, adding parts to a cart, submitting an enquiry or placing an order, you accept these terms. If you are ordering on behalf of a business or workshop, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business. If you do not accept these terms, please do not place an order — contact us instead and we will talk it through.

We may update these terms as our catalogue and shipping arrangements change. The version published at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

2. Using this website

You agree to use the site for genuine parts research and purchasing. You must not attempt to scrape or bulk-extract the catalogue or fitment data, interfere with site security, submit false orders or enquiries, or use the site in a way that breaches Australian law.

We aim to keep the catalogue and fitment tools available continuously, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, catalogue updates or matters outside our control.

3. Product information and fitment guidance

Listings are built from manufacturer specifications and fitment records mapped against vehicle applications. We work hard to keep descriptions, part numbers, images and fitment records accurate, but catalogue data can change, images are often representative rather than photographs of the exact item, and superseded part numbers are common on older platforms.

Fitment guidance we provide — on a listing, by phone or by email — is based on the vehicle details you give us and the catalogue data available to us. It is guidance, not a guarantee that a part suits a specific vehicle in a specific configuration. Where a part is variant-sensitive, you are responsible for confirming compatibility before fitting. Full detail is in our warranty & fitment policy.

4. Pricing, GST and currency

All prices shown on this site are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where GST applies to the supply. Prices exclude shipping unless a listing says otherwise. Shipping is calculated automatically from your order total and shown in the cart and at checkout before payment is taken.

Prices can change without notice as costs and exchange rates move. Obvious pricing or data errors do not bind us: if a listed price is clearly wrong, we will contact you before processing, and you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund of anything already paid. See GST & tax invoices.

5. Stock availability

Stock indicators reflect the best information we have at the time you view a listing, drawn from our own holdings and incoming stock records. They are not a guarantee of immediate availability. If a part is on backorder, superseded or discontinued after you order, we will tell you the expected timeframe and you can choose to wait, accept an equivalent alternative, or cancel that line for a refund.

6. Enquiry-only and quote-based items

Some items are listed as price-on-request or enquiry-only. This happens with oversized items, made-to-order or special-order parts, and parts where pricing must be confirmed at the time of order. For those items, submitting an enquiry is a request for a quote — not an order. We reply with pricing, availability and the shipping charge for the order total, and nothing is charged until you confirm.

7. Shipping charges and oversized items

Shipping is charged by order value: AUD $19.95 up to $200, $29.95 for $201–$500, $39.95 for $501–$1,000, $59.95 for $1,001–$2,500, $89.95 for $2,501–$5,000, $149.95 for $5,001–$9,999, and free on orders of AUD $10,000 or more. Standard parts ship as parcels; bar work, long-arm kits, bonnets, hardtops, panels, wheels and tyres and similar bulky items ship as road freight under the same bands, with no additional surcharge. Where an order contains both, items may dispatch separately and arrive on different days. Delivery windows are estimates provided by the carrier, not guarantees. Details are on our shipping page.

8. Order acceptance, changes and cancellation

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we accept your order — normally by confirming availability, and by dispatching or reserving the goods. We may decline or cancel an order where the item is unavailable, the price or listing contained an error, delivery cannot reasonably be arranged to the address, payment cannot be verified, or we suspect fraudulent use of payment details.

  • Changes: contact us as soon as possible with your order reference. We can usually amend before the order is picked or the consignment is booked.
  • Your cancellation: if the order has not been dispatched or a special-order item has not yet been placed, we will cancel and refund in full.
  • After dispatch: a change of mind is handled as a return under our returns policy.
  • Our cancellation: we refund the affected lines in full to the original payment method.

9. Your responsibility for vehicle and delivery details

You are responsible for giving us accurate vehicle details (model, platform, build year, body style, engine and drivetrain where relevant, and any modifications already fitted) and accurate delivery details. Incorrect vehicle information is the most common cause of a wrong-part order, and incorrect address details cause failed deliveries and re-delivery charges. Where a part was supplied correctly against the details you gave us, a change of mind or wrong-vehicle return is handled under the change-of-mind path in our returns policy.

10. Returns, warranty and faults

Returns for change of mind, incorrect items, transit damage and faulty goods are handled under our returns policy. Manufacturer warranty support and fitment-error handling are covered in our warranty & fitment policy. Contact us first in every case so we can issue a return authority and match the item back to your order.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject always to clause 11, our liability for any claim relating to a part or an order is limited at our option to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, repairing the goods, or refunding the price paid for the goods.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost workshop time, towing, vehicle hire, loss of use, or labour costs incurred fitting or removing a part — including where a part was fitted despite an unresolved fitment question. If you are unsure a part suits your vehicle, ask us before fitting.
