Returns & warranty claims
Parts sometimes need to go back — a change of plan, a wrong item, transit damage or a genuine fault. This page explains each path, what we need from you, and who pays return shipping, alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Start with a return authority
Contact us before sending anything back. We issue a return authority and the return address, which lets us match the parcel to your order the moment it lands and pay your refund without delay. Unannounced returns sit unidentified in the freight system and slow everything down.

What to include in your request
- Your order reference (format #0000) or the email address the order was placed with.
- The part number and description of the item being returned.
- The reason for the return — change of mind, does not fit, incorrect item, damaged in transit, or faulty.
- Photos where relevant: the outer packaging, the part as received, and any damage or fault.
- Your vehicle details if the issue is fitment-related — build year, model, body style, engine and drivetrain, and any modifications fitted.
Change of mind — 30 days, unfitted
Unfitted parts in original, resaleable packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Please return the item complete, with all hardware, instructions and inner packaging, and do not write on or tape over the manufacturer's box.
Return freight for a change of mind is at your cost, and we recommend a trackable service — the item remains your responsibility until it reaches us. Once received and checked, we refund the purchase price of the goods to your original payment method. The original outbound shipping charge is not refunded on a change-of-mind return. Parts that have been fitted, part-fitted, drilled, cut, painted, wired in or otherwise modified cannot be returned for change of mind.
Incorrect item or a fitment error on our side
If we picked the wrong part, or we advised a part against the vehicle details you supplied and it does not fit, that is on us. We cover the correction end to end: return freight, the correct part sent out, or a full refund including the original shipping charge if you would rather not proceed.
Tell us before fitting. Once a part has been installed we can no longer treat it as a supply error, and a part damaged during an attempted fit is much harder to resolve. See our warranty & fitment policy for how fitment advice is given and what affects it.
Damaged in transit
Inspect your delivery promptly. If the packaging or part is damaged, photograph the outer packaging, any labels, and the damage to the part before unpacking further, and send those photos with your order reference within a few days of delivery. Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved — carriers require it.
We lodge the carrier claim, not you. We then replace the part or refund it in full, including freight, and we do not wait for the carrier claim to conclude before making you whole.
Faulty goods
If a part is not of acceptable quality, does not match its description, or fails in normal use, contact us with the part number, order reference, a description of the fault and photos. We assess the fault and, depending on whether it is a major failure, arrange a refund, replacement or repair. Where the failure is major, the choice of a refund or replacement is yours. We cover return freight on faulty goods.
Manufacturer warranty claims
A part that worked and then failed in service is handled as a warranty claim on the manufacturer's terms, which vary by brand and product type. Some claims require the part to be returned for manufacturer inspection. We manage that process for you and keep you updated while it runs — the full detail, including the evidence required, is in our warranty & fitment policy.
Special-order and made-to-order items
Parts brought in specifically for you, made to order, or supplied as a custom or cut-to-length item may have different return treatment because it cannot be returned to them back. We flag this before you commit on any order where it applies. These items are still fully covered for incorrect supply, transit damage, faults and consumer guarantees — the restriction only affects change-of-mind returns.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the method used to pay — to the card for card payments, or to your nominated Australian bank account for bank transfers. We process refunds once the return is received and assessed, usually within a couple of business days, and the time to appear in your account then depends on your bank.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The 30-day change-of-mind window above is offered in addition to those rights. Nothing on this page excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, and consumer guarantee claims are not limited to 30 days.
