Help & FAQ
Australian Jeeps come in local-delivery and imported specifications, part numbers change mid-model-year, and knowing what shipping will cost before you pay matters. This page answers the questions we get asked most — and if yours is not here, call or email us and a person who knows these vehicles will answer.

Finding the right part
- How do I search by vehicle?
- Use Shop by Vehicle in the main menu, or the vehicle finder on the home page. Choose your platform — for example Wrangler JK, Gladiator JT, Cherokee XJ, Grand Cherokee WK2, Ford Bronco or Toyota Tacoma — then your model year. The catalogue then shows only parts mapped to that platform and year, and you can narrow further by category or brand.
- How does fitment checking work?
- Every listing is mapped against vehicle applications drawn from manufacturer specifications and fitment records. When you filter by platform and year, the catalogue matches the part against those application records. On top of that, we check fitment by hand whenever you ask — send us the part and your vehicle details and we confirm before you order.
- How do I confirm compatibility before I buy?
- Email or call us with the part you are looking at and your vehicle details, or submit an enquiry from the product page — it captures the part, part number and price automatically. We reply confirming whether it suits your build, or telling you what does. Never fit a part you are unsure about; unfitted parts are easy to exchange, fitted parts are not.
- What details should I include in a fitment enquiry?
- Build year and model (for example a 2016 Wrangler JK), body style (two-door, four-door, ute tray, wagon), engine and drivetrain where relevant (petrol or diesel, transmission, axle type and ratio, transfer case), and any modifications already fitted (lift height, wheel and tyre size, bar work, long-arm conversion, axle or brake upgrades). Your VIN or build date and the old part number help enormously.
- Why can trim level and modifications change what fits?
- Within one model year, different brake, tow, axle-ratio and suspension packages take different parts. Australian-delivered vehicles can differ from US-market builds, privately imported vehicles differ again, and mid-year production changes are common on older platforms. Previous aftermarket work can also make an otherwise correct part unsuitable.
Pricing and payment
- Are prices in Australian dollars?
- Always. Every price on the site is in AUD and includes GST where GST applies to the supply. There is no currency conversion at checkout and no conversion margin added by us. Part prices exclude shipping, which is calculated automatically from your order total and shown in the cart and at checkout before payment.
- What does 'price on request' or enquiry-only mean?
- Some items need pricing confirmed at the time of order — typically oversized road-freight items, made-to-order or special-order parts, and parts where pricing must be confirmed. Submitting an enquiry on those items is a request for a quote, not an order. We reply with price and availability, plus the shipping amount that applies to your order total, and nothing is charged until you approve the total.
- How do I pay, and when is payment taken?
- Checkout offers credit or debit card and direct Australian bank transfer (EFT). Payment is completed before dispatch. Your total already includes shipping, calculated from your order total. On card orders we email a secure payment link for that total; on bank transfer, the account details and your order reference are shown on the confirmation screen and emailed to you, and parts ship once funds clear.
- Do I get a tax invoice?
- Yes. Every completed order generates an order confirmation with a reference in the format #0000, emailed to you and itemising parts, part numbers, quantities, totals and your delivery details. Tax invoice documentation is issued for qualifying purchases, and we will reissue it in a business name or to another email address on request.
Shipping charges and delivery
- How much is shipping?
- Standard shipping Australia-wide is calculated automatically from your order total: orders $0–$200 are AUD $19.95, $201–$500 are AUD $29.95, $501–$1,000 are AUD $39.95, $1,001–$2,500 are AUD $59.95, $2,501–$5,000 are AUD $89.95, $5,001–$9,999 are AUD $149.95, and orders of AUD $10,000 or more ship free. Shipping is applied automatically from your cart subtotal and recalculates the moment your cart changes, so the amount shown in the cart and at checkout is exactly what you pay. There are no postcode quotes, oversized surcharges or handling fees.
- Do you offer free shipping?
- Yes. Free shipping applies automatically on orders of AUD $10,000 or more — you do not need a code, and the shipping line changes to Free as soon as your subtotal reaches the threshold.
- How long does delivery take?
- In-stock orders placed and paid before 2:00pm AEST are dispatched the same business day from Sydney. Typical transit is 1–2 business days to Sydney and Canberra, 2–3 to Melbourne and Brisbane, 3–5 to Adelaide, Perth, Hobart and Darwin, 3–6 to regional centres, and 4–8 to remote addresses. These are carrier estimates, not guaranteed dates.
- How does oversized freight work?
- Bar work, long-arm kits, bonnets, hardtops, panels, wheels and tyres, racks and canopies are too large for the parcel network and ship as road freight. They are still charged using the same order-value shipping bands — there is no oversized surcharge. Some regional deliveries go to a depot for collection, and someone needs to be available to receive and check the item.
- Why did my order arrive in two deliveries?
- Orders that mix parcel items with oversized freight, or that include a direct-freight item, may dispatch in more than one consignment and arrive on different days. You are still charged one shipping amount for the order, and we tell you what is in each consignment.
Returns, damage and warranty
- How do returns work?
- Contact us first for a return authority so your parcel can be matched to your order. Unfitted parts in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery, with return freight at your cost, and we refund the purchase price to your original payment method. Where we sent the wrong part or the fitment error is ours, we cover the correction including return freight.
- What if my item arrives damaged or is the wrong part?
- Inspect your delivery promptly. Photograph the outer packaging, labels and the damage before unpacking further, keep all packaging, and send the photos with your order reference within a few days of delivery. We lodge the carrier claim and replace or refund the part in full including freight — we do not wait for the carrier claim to conclude. For an incorrect item, stop before fitting and contact us.
- How do warranty claims work?
- Parts carry the warranty offered by their manufacturer, on that manufacturer's terms, which differ by brand and product type. To assess a claim we generally need your order reference and proof of purchase, the part number, a description of the fault and time in service, and photos of the part fitted and removed. Some claims require the part to be returned for manufacturer inspection — we manage that process for you.
- What are my rights under Australian Consumer Law?
- Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and to repair or replacement where goods fail to be of acceptable quality without that being a major failure. Our 30-day change-of-mind window is offered in addition to those rights.
